Holiday food drive closes with 12,000 pounds of donations

Neighbors gave generously, and partner grocers covered the gap on perishables in the final week.
Holiday giving is generous but seasonal. Our challenge is turning that surge into steady supply through February.
Recurring monthly donors make that possible, since they let us purchase perishables predictably.
