Community wellness day brings screenings and neighbors together

Blood pressure checks, benefits enrollment, and a shared meal turned a parking lot into a block party.
More than four hundred neighbors stopped by across the day. Nearly a third completed at least one health screening.
Benefits navigators helped forty households start applications they had been putting off.
The next wellness day is being planned with our healthcare partners for the fall.
